Proposals Title:
On Middle Income Trap

Many countries suffered the “middle income trap” by facing challenges like: slowdown or stagnation of economic growth, polarization of the rich and poor, corruption, excessive urbanization, short of public services, unemployment, unstable society, fragile financial system and the lack of faith. In 1960, there were 101 middle income countries in the world, of them only 13 countries turned into developed economies, with the rest falling into the “middle income trap”. China has become a middle income country with a GDP $5,400 per capita, how can China prevent itself from the “middle income trap”, and what experience can China learn?
